Features
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA)
ARRA provided $2 billion in supplemental Fiscal Year 2009 Discretionary Child Care and Development Funds to State, Territory, and Tribal Lead Agencies. These additional funds provided Lead Agencies an important opportunity to assist those most impacted by the recession and to expand services to children and families. View information about the Child Care Bureau and the ARRA funds. For information about ARRA funds and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services go to hhs.gov/recovery/. General ARRA information is available at www.Recovery.gov.
